The Colorado Commercial Real Estate Honors is the next evolution of NAIOP Colorado’s long-standing Awards of Achievement—recognizing excellence across the commercial real estate industry.
While the event takes place in 2026, all awards recognize outstanding brokerage performance achieved during the 2025 calendar year.

TRANSACTION-BASED BROKER AWARD CATEGORIES
Awards may be presented to an Individual and/or Team within each discipline and are evaluated by firm classification.
- Industrial Broker – Capital Markets
- Industrial Leasing Broker
- Investment Broker
- Land Broker
- Multifamily Broker
- Office Broker
- Retail Broker

FIRM CLASSIFICATION NEW
Firm classifications apply only to transaction-based Broker Awards. Firm size is not considered for the Legacy Broker Award or the Rising Broker Star Award, which are evaluated based on individual merit.
Transaction-based awards are evaluated within the following firm classifications:
- Local / Regional Firm: Fewer than 20 brokers and no offices located outside the State of Colorado
- National Firm: 20 or more brokers or at least one office located outside the State of Colorado
NAIOP Colorado reserves the right to reclassify submissions to ensure fairness and consistency in judging.
TRANSACTION ELIGIBILITY PERIOD
Only transactions closed between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 will be considered. Transaction volume and number of completed deals during this period are key evaluation factors.
ADDITIONAL BROKER HONORS (Non-Transaction Based)
- Legacy Broker Award: Honors an individual with a sustained record of achievement, leadership, and long-term impact within Colorado’s commercial real estate industry.
- Broker Rising Star Award: Recognizes early-career brokers demonstrating strong growth, leadership potential, and engagement within the commercial real estate industry and broader community.
- Tenant Representation Broker Award (NEW): Recognizes an individual broker or brokerage team who demonstrated excellence in representing occupier clients through strategic advisory, negotiation, and delivery of measure value in tenant-side commercial real estate assignments the year.
FINALIST & AWARD ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Finalists will be announced by Thursday, February 19, 2026
- Award recipients will be announced live at the Colorado Commercial Real Estate Honors on Thursday, February 26, 2026
Award Presentation
Award recipients will be recognized during the ceremony, with trophies available for pickup during the post-event celebration. For Team awards, up to two (2) complimentary trophies will be provided per award. Additional trophies may be available for purchase.

HOW TO SUBMIT
Broker Award nominations must be submitted online by the stated deadline. Printable forms are provided as planning tools only to assist in preparing nomination materials prior to online submission.

Transaction Forms (Required for Broker Awards)
A completed transaction form must be submitted with each Broker Award nomination. Nominations submitted without the required transaction form(s) may be considered incomplete.

Broker Manager Review & Certification
Applicants are required to provide the Broker Manager's name and contact information as part of the nomination.
By submitting a Broker Award nomination, applicants certify that the transaction information provided is accurate and has been reviewed and approved by the nominee's Broker Manager. Finalists may be required to complete additional verification. Broker Managers will be invited to participate in a Broker Vetting Meeting scheduled for Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM MT.

- Up to five (5) additional photos supporting the nomination (if available)
- Narrative submission (500 words or fewer) describing the nominee's career, leadership, and impact
- Tenant Representation Broker Award
- High-resolution headshot(s) of the nominated broker(s)
- Up to two or three (2-3) additional photos supporting the nomination (if available)
- Narrative submission (500 words or fewer) describing the nominee's tenant-side representation, strategy, and client impact
High-resolution images are required for finalist recognition, event materials, and on-screen displays.
Confidentiality & Use of Information
Information submitted as part of a Broker Award nomination will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating award submissions and will be treated as confidential. Financial and transaction details will not be disclosed publicly.
